How to gift AI credits
Steps that work
- Choose the product. Lab-specific (ChatGPT gift card or credits) or multi-model prepaid credit.
- Buy with your own checkout. Do not ask them for a password.
- Send the claim link privately. Anyone with some links can redeem them (OpenAI gift credits are explicit about this).
- Say the rules in one sentence. Expiry, what it pays for, that it does not renew.
Lab options in one line
- ChatGPT: retail cards and claim-link credits (cards, credits).
- Claude: gift subscriptions unavailable to buy as of 2026-10-07.
Brass sells prepaid packs of $10 to $250 you can gift by email or as a card you print. Credits never expire. The recipient spends them across Claude, GPT, Gemini, Grok and DeepSeek. US only, 18 and over; an unclaimed gift returns to you after 90 days.
Still shopping for the holidays? A Brass pack goes by email or as a card you print at home, so it is there the day you give it. Send a pack.
