Terms of Service
Effective October 7, 2026. Brass is operated by Adore LLC (“Brass”, “we”, “us”), 8 The Green, STE A, Dover, DE 19901. Contact: hello@adorellc.pro.
These terms cover your use of the Brass website, the Brass web chat, and Brass packs and credits. By creating an account or buying a pack, you agree to them. The Gift Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy and the Privacy Policy are part of these terms.
Who can use Brass
You must be 18 or older and live in the United States, and Brass works only from internet connections in the United States. One account per person. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your email address secure.
What Brass sells
Brass sells prepaid credits for its own AI chat service. Credits are sold in packs of $10, $25, $50, $100 and $250. One credit dollar pays for one dollar of usage at the Brass price. You spend credits in the Brass web chat on the AI models we offer. We buy Claude, GPT, Gemini and Grok models from their makers, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and xAI, and DeepSeek’s models from US companies that host them, all through our routing supplier. Brass is the seller of the service. Brass is not affiliated with those companies.
Credits are not money. They are not a deposit, do not earn interest, are not insured, and cannot be exchanged for cash except as these terms or the law require. Credits can only be used for the Brass service.
Prices
Each message is charged at the list price for the tokens it used, plus 25%. For Claude, GPT, Gemini and Grok models, the list price is the price the model maker publishes; for other models, such as DeepSeek’s, it is the price the companies that host them charge through our routing supplier. That price is the same at every hour. A message never costs more than the rate the chat shows for its model when you send it. Your receipt for every message shows the list price, our cut and the total. When a model maker lowers a price, your credits buy more of that model once we confirm the new price on the maker’s page, usually within a few hours. When a model maker raises a price, the new price applies to messages sent after the change. We will not raise the 25% rate on credits you have already bought. We may ask some models to think briefly before they answer, which makes their answers quicker and cheaper; such a model is marked “brief thinking” where you choose it and on its receipts.
If a provider does not report the usage of a message, for example when an answer is stopped, we estimate it from the text sent and received, and the receipt says it is an estimate.
If a message costs more than your balance, the difference is an unpaid balance. Until you open a pack to pay it, you cannot chat, send gifts or cash out. We write off a difference under $1.00.
Packs
A pack you buy starts sealed. You can keep it sealed, open it to add its credits to your balance, or send it to someone under the Gift Terms. Opened credits stay in your account and cannot be transferred to another account.
A pack whose payment we hold for review shows in your stash as being checked. Until we release it, usually within a day, it cannot be opened, sent or refunded, and a gift’s link is not made. If we cannot release it, we refund it in full to the card that paid, no later than the day after the payment is 3 days old.
Expiry and fees
Paid credits never expire. We charge no account, inactivity or dormancy fees. If we ever give promotional credits, each one will show its expiry date. If a state’s unclaimed property law requires us to report credit that has not been used for years, we will email you before we report it, and if you come back after we report it, we will still honor your credit and sealed packs.
Limits
To keep Brass inside the rules for prepaid services and to prevent fraud, these limits apply. An account’s age counts from its first purchase or its first claim of a gift, whichever came first. Days end at midnight Eastern: a date we show is a whole day, through its last minute.
- One account can hold up to $1,000 in credits and sealed packs.
- One account can add up to $1,000 of new value in any 24 hours.
- A new account can add up to $100 in its first 24 hours. Gifts it claims do not count toward the $100.
- Gifts count toward the $1,000 a day. Through the end of the 7th day after its first purchase or claim, an account can send up to $50 of gifts in any 24 hours, whether a pack was bought as a gift or bought first and sent later.
- A pack you buy for yourself can be sent right away when your bank asked you to confirm the payment and you did, or you paid with Apple Pay. Otherwise it can be sent from the first midnight Eastern 14 days after you bought it; the pack shows the date.
- Credit from gift packs can be spent up to $10 a day in total through the end of the 7th day after a gift is claimed. This limit is lifted only when all four of these hold. The buyer’s account is more than 30 days old. The card that paid for the pack has a settled purchase on that account at least 30 days old. The buyer’s bank asked them to confirm the payment and they did, or they paid with Apple Pay. The buyer’s account has had no sign of fraud in the last 90 days (a block, a dispute that is open or was lost, or a fraud warning from a card network). We show this limit wherever it applies, including to the buyer before they pay, when it depends on the card. The day resets at midnight Eastern time.
- A pack you buy whose payment your bank did not ask you to confirm (Google Pay included) can be spent up to $10 a day through the end of the 7th day after you open it, shared with any gift credit still in its first week, in four cases. First, while we check payments more closely, which we do when fraud reports rise. Second, when we held the pack’s payment for review, which we do when our payment processor’s fraud screening asks for one, when its card paid on another Brass account in the last 30 days, your account has no purchase that settled at least 30 days ago, and the card had a payment here its bank confirmed or, for a pack for yourself, another account bought a pack with it 30 or more days ago and kept it (otherwise it is refunded at once, as below), or, for a gift paid with a card that had a payment on your account its bank confirmed, when the third case applies or the payment takes the payments your bank did not confirm over $100, counted as the fourth case counts them. Third, when our fraud rules listed your account for a check in the 30 days before you paid, for one of these: two cards in a day, a card that paid on another account, over $250 of gifts in a day on the account or on a card it used, or the fourth case’s $100. Fourth, when the payment takes the payments your bank did not confirm in the last 30 days over $100, where each card’s payments count only beyond what it paid for packs on your account at least 30 days before that you kept, up to $100 a card, and its card is one your account knows: it had a payment on your account that its bank confirmed, or it paid for a pack on your account at least 30 days before that you kept, while its payments on your account that their bank did not confirm, gifts too and this one included, come to $200 or less in the last 30 days. With any other card, the limit on new cards below applies instead. This includes a pack you bought as a gift that came back to you unclaimed. A payment your bank asked you to confirm and you did, or Apple Pay, has no such limit. We show this limit, and the case behind it, on the buy page before you pay or when we release a held pack, on the pack before you open it, and in the chat.
- From an account’s fourth payment in 24 hours that its bank did not ask it to confirm (Google Pay included), the bank is asked to confirm the payment, and a payment it does not confirm is refunded in full. The buy page says so before you pay.
- The limit on new cards: when a pack you buy, for yourself or as a gift, would take the payments your bank did not confirm over $100, counted as the fourth case above counts them, or, for a gift, is bought while our fraud rules have your account listed (the third case), and its card is not one your account knows (for a gift, a card your account knows is one that had a payment on your account its bank confirmed), the bank is asked to confirm the payment, and a payment it does not confirm (Google Pay included) is refunded in full; a gift refunded this way is never sent. The buy page says so before you pay, and the refund tells you which of these applied.
- We also refund in full at once, and say why, whether or not your bank confirmed the payment, a payment with a card that paid on three other Brass accounts, an account’s fourth card in 30 days, a prepaid card for a gift over $25, a card from outside the United States, or a card we have blocked for fraud. We refund the same way a payment with a card another Brass account paid with in the last 30 days, when your bank did not confirm the payment, your account has no purchase that settled 30 or more days ago, and the card has no payment here its bank confirmed nor, for a pack for yourself, a pack another account bought with it 30 or more days ago and kept. A gift refunded either way is never sent.
- If five answers end before any word shows within an hour, because you pressed Stop, the page closed or the connection dropped, or 20 within 24 hours, the chat takes no new message until the hour or day has passed, since a model can bill for an answer nobody saw.
We may lower these limits for an account we believe is at risk of fraud.
Refunds and cash-outs
- You can refund a pack you bought to the original card through the 30th day after purchase if it is unopened and unclaimed.
- Opened credits are not refundable, except as required by law.
- If your balance is under $15, you can ask us to pay it out, to the card you paid with, where we still can; credit you received as a gift, and anything we cannot return to a card, by check to the address you give us. We will do so within 10 business days, except that credit from a gift is paid by check within 10 business days after the day the payment for it is 30 days old, or 120 days old when the giver’s bank did not confirm that payment, and we tell you that date when you ask. A cash-out is not available while credit is limited to $10 a day, while a pack of yours is on hold, or while an unpaid balance is owed, and the chat is paused until a requested cash-out is paid or you cancel it.
- If we close your account for a reason other than fraud or a serious breach of these terms, we will pay out your unspent balance and sealed packs, to the card you paid with, where we still can; credit you received as a gift, and anything we cannot return to a card, by check to the address you give us.
- If the card’s bank sends back a refund or a cash-out we made, usually because the card was closed or replaced, we still owe it and pay it by check. When you asked for it, we pay you within 10 business days after you give us an address, or, when your bank did not confirm the payment, within 10 business days after the later of the day you give us an address and the day the payment is 120 days old. Otherwise, or when the bank reports the card lost or stolen, the card’s bank warns us the payment was not authorized, or we have blocked the account, we pay the card’s holder within 10 business days after they show us the card is theirs. While the payment is disputed with the card’s bank, the dispute decides it instead, and nothing is paid twice. If the dispute ends without returning the money, we pay the card’s holder within 10 business days after they show us the card is theirs.
Disputes about charges
If you think a charge is wrong, email hello@adorellc.pro first. If a payment is disputed with your card issuer, or the issuer warns us that a card was used without permission (an early fraud warning), we may put on hold every pack and credit bought by that account, including gifts already claimed, and pause the account. We may also hold them while we check an account we have reason to think paid with a card it was not allowed to use.
If the card’s bank reports the payment for a pack as unauthorized, we refund that payment. If the bank decides a dispute about it against us, the bank returns the money. Either way we remove the pack and any credits left in it, even after it was claimed. When the buyer confirmed the payment at their bank’s request, or paid with Apple Pay, an unauthorized report puts the pack on hold instead.
If a dispute is resolved in our favor, or the bank closes it without one, we release the hold. A pack held because of a different payment is released 120 days after its own payment. A hold for our own check, or after a warning on a payment the buyer confirmed at their bank’s request or paid with Apple Pay, ends 120 days after the payment, or 30 days after the hold if that is later, unless a dispute about the payment is open. When we have paused an account, we hold every pack it holds, gifts others gave it too, and when a pack’s hold ends before we lift the pause or the account closes, we refund what is left of the pack to the card that paid for it instead of releasing it, and email the holder and, for a gift, its buyer; the pause email gives the last of those days, and a pack whose own payment is disputed waits for the bank’s decision. If we find the card was used without permission, we refund the payment and remove the pack as above. When someone other than the buyer holds a pack, we email them when we put it on hold, release it or remove it. You can ask us to review any hold at hello@adorellc.pro.
Your conversations
Brass keeps your conversation history in your browser, not on our servers. To answer a message, we send it, with up to 40 earlier messages and answers from the conversation, to the maker of the model you picked for it, or to a company that hosts that model, through our routing supplier, and an automated safety check reviews it for the Acceptable Use Policy; we keep only whether it was flagged and the category, never the text. A message about suicide or self-harm is handled as the Acceptable Use Policy describes, with nothing kept with your account. We ask suppliers not to use your messages for training. Model makers may keep messages for a limited time to check for abuse, under their own policies. See the Privacy Policy.
AI output
AI models make mistakes. Do not rely on output for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions without checking it with a qualified person. You are responsible for how you use the output.
Suspension and closing an account
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, that we believe is involved in fraud, or where the law requires it. You can close your account at any time by emailing us. Before it closes you can refund eligible packs, send sealed packs and cash out a balance under $15. Opened credit of $15 or more cannot be refunded. Closing does not erase opened credit of any amount: we keep it on record with your email address and reopen the account with the same balance if you ask.
Availability
We will try to keep Brass running, but models and suppliers can be unavailable or retired. When a model is retired, your credits stay in dollars and work on the other models we offer.
Liability
Brass is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about Brass is limited to the greater of $100 and the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This limit does not apply to the credits and sealed packs you hold. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
If Brass stops
If we stop selling packs, the chat keeps running and we pay out unspent balances on request, to the card you paid with, where we still can; credit you received as a gift, and anything we cannot return to a card, by check to the address you give us. If we close the chat, we will email you at least 30 days ahead and pay out every sealed pack and balance the same way.
Transfer
We may transfer these terms and your account, with every balance and sealed pack, to a company that controls, is controlled by or is under common control with Adore LLC, or to a successor to the Brass business. We will email account holders at least 30 days before a transfer, and every balance and pack carries over with its value and these terms. You may not transfer your account.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will email account holders about material changes at least 30 days before they apply. Changes never reduce the value of the credits and packs you hold.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
