Does ChatGPT sell gift cards?
Yes. OpenAI sells digital ChatGPT gift cards through participating US retailers. Amounts are typically $15 to $250. Best Buy is the retailer OpenAI names; availability varies.
Redeemed value goes to a ChatGPT wallet balance and can pay for eligible web subscriptions, renewals, upgrades, and credit purchases. It does not pay for App Store or Play Store billing, and it does not fund the API.
Separate product: gift credits
OpenAI also documents gift credit links. Those must be claimed within 30 days, expire 12 months after claim, and pay for credit-based features, not ordinary chat. Do not confuse the two.
For someone who uses Claude as often as GPT, a multi-model prepaid pack is usually clearer than either OpenAI product alone.
Brass sells prepaid packs of $10 to $250 you can gift by email or as a card you print. Credits never expire. The recipient spends them across Claude, GPT, Gemini, Grok and DeepSeek. US only, 18 and over; an unclaimed gift returns to you after 90 days.
Still shopping for the holidays? A Brass pack goes by email or as a card you print at home, so it is there the day you give it. Send a pack.
