Can I gift Claude Pro?

Not right now. Anthropic lists gift subscriptions as unavailable, and Pro is one of the plans those gifts cover when they are on sale.

On the pricing page, Pro is $20 a month or $200 a year. It includes more usage than Free, Claude Code, Projects, and several desktop tools. Max plans sit above Pro at $100 and $200 a month.

When gifts return

A Pro gift would be a fixed term (1, 3, 6, or 12 months per Anthropic’s article). The recipient has 365 days from purchase to redeem. Gifts do not stack. Mobile subscribers must let an App Store plan end first.

Until then

Do not share your login. Do not buy them a surprise subscription on your card. Send prepaid credit they can spend on Claude and other models without a cancel step.
