Can I gift Claude Code access?
Claude Code is part of paid Claude (Pro and Max), not a separate SKU you can put in a stocking. Anthropic’s guest pass article says passes include Claude Code for seven days of Pro. The recipient still enters a payment method.
Gift subscriptions that would cover longer Pro or Max access are currently unavailable to buy.
Practical gift for a Claude Code user
- Prepaid multi-model credit they can burn on Claude-heavy coding weeks.
- A guest pass only if you warn them it can convert to a paid plan.
- Skip shared API keys. Keys are not a gift; they are access to your bill.
Brass sells prepaid packs of $10 to $250 you can gift by email or as a card you print. Credits never expire. The recipient spends them across Claude, GPT, Gemini, Grok and DeepSeek. US only, 18 and over; an unclaimed gift returns to you after 90 days.
Still shopping for the holidays? A Brass pack goes by email or as a card you print at home, so it is there the day you give it. Send a pack.
