Are Anthropic API credits a good gift?
Anthropic console credit helps someone who already ships on the Claude API. It is confusing as a birthday present for a ChatGPT-only relative.
Reality check
- Claude consumer gift subscriptions are unavailable
- API billing needs their console access
- A prepaid pack they claim themselves avoids you touching their org
If they asked for Anthropic API credit by name, follow that. Otherwise gift prepaid credit they can spend without a console tour.
Brass sells prepaid packs of $10 to $250 you can gift by email or as a card you print. Credits never expire. The recipient spends them across Claude, GPT, Gemini, Grok and DeepSeek. US only, 18 and over; an unclaimed gift returns to you after 90 days.
Still shopping for the holidays? A Brass pack goes by email or as a card you print at home, so it is there the day you give it. Send a pack.
