AI gift for a college student
Students need bursts of help around deadlines, not necessarily a year of Plus on a parent’s card.
Good gifts
- $25-$50 prepaid AI credit
- A ChatGPT gift card if that is the only tool their courses allow (rules)
- A book tied to their major
Checks
- Brass recipients must be 18 or over.
- Tell them to follow their school’s AI policy. Credit is not permission to cheat.
- Do not put Plus on your card “until graduation.”
Brass sells prepaid packs of $10 to $250 you can gift by email or as a card you print. Credits never expire. The recipient spends them across Claude, GPT, Gemini, Grok and DeepSeek. US only, 18 and over; an unclaimed gift returns to you after 90 days.
Still shopping for the holidays? A Brass pack goes by email or as a card you print at home, so it is there the day you give it. Send a pack.

Subscriptions renew. Prepaid credit does not. Use gift cards, gift credits, or multi-model packs instead of putting Plus on your card.

A $10-$25 prepaid pack or a small ChatGPT gift card. Enough for real use, small enough for stockings and Secret Santa.
